How this one came together.
The brief
A multigenerational family — grandparents, parents, two kids — moving into their first villa. The grandfather is a practicing vastu consultant; every major layout decision had to pass his rules.
Vastu-driven layout
Kitchen relocated to north-east corner (it was originally south-west). Master bedroom moved to south-west. Pooja unit anchored to the east wall of the main living, on a 6-inch raised wooden platform with a marble back. The full home's furniture orientation respects directional rules for sleeping, cooking, and worshipping.
