The first question almost every Gurugram homeowner asks us: how much does a modular kitchen actually cost? The honest answer is that it depends — but the ranges are tighter than most people assume, and the things that move the price are predictable. This post breaks down what you'll pay in 2026, why, and where the variation comes from.
The three tiers we see in Gurugram
Most Gurugram kitchens fall into one of three price brackets. The variation within each bracket comes from layout choices (L vs U vs island), the brand of hardware (Hettich basic vs Hafele Servo), and the finish material (PU vs acrylic vs veneer).
- Compact (₹2.8 – 3.5 lakhs): Up to 80 sq ft. Hettich basic hardware, PU finish, quartz counter.
- Premium (₹4.5 – 5.5 lakhs): 80 – 120 sq ft. Hafele Servo soft-close, acrylic finish, quartz or granite, under-cabinet LEDs.
- Luxury (₹6.5 lakhs+): Island/peninsula layouts. Full Hafele suite, veneer or marble fascia, Italian quartz, built-in appliance pockets.
Why pricing varies — even at the same tier
Two ₹4.5L kitchens can look identical in photos but differ in what's actually behind the doors. The biggest variables are hardware brand (Hafele Servo costs nearly 3x Hettich basic), counter material (Indian quartz is half the price of Italian quartz), and carcass material (BWP plywood vs MDF, where BWP is mandatory if you ever want the kitchen to survive a leak).
What's NOT in the kitchen price (usually)
- Civil work — moving plumbing, electrical points, breaking walls.
- Appliances — chimney, hob, dishwasher, microwave.
- Sink + faucet (sometimes included in premium tier, ask).
- Floor tiling under the kitchen.
- GST (currently 18%).
Get the appliance budget separately. A decent chimney + hob combo in Gurugram is ₹40 – 60K. Dishwasher integration adds another ₹35 – 50K to the kitchen carcass cost (because the cabinet has to be built around it).
Where Infraspace fits in
We're factory-direct out of Faridabad — no middleman, no franchise markup. For comparable specs, we're typically 15 – 25% cheaper than Livspace or HomeLane. The savings come from cutting out the brand premium, not from corner-cutting on hardware (we use the same Hafele/Hettich SKUs).
